"Geological Survey of the Ex-Mission, San Buenaventura Properties, Ventura County, California," by Louis N. Waterfall and Francis F. Bowman, Jr., 1 December 1926. There is a letter of transmittal to the Union Oil Company of California in Los Angeles by Waterfall, dated 28 December 1926. The report contains a discussion of the stratigraphy, structure, faults, folding, and productive areas of oil production, including the Ventura Avenue field, where Walter Temple and the M.K.T. OIl Company operated later in the decade. A summary and conslusions and recommendations section follows. There are also maps and geologic profiles and two copies of a listing of wells in the eastern section of the field. With edge wear, soiling, and creases to the wrappers, browning and edge wear to a map, but generall clean pages, the condition is fair.Lexicon
