"GEOLOGY AND OIL RESOURCES OF THE EASTERN PUENTE HILLS AREA, SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA" 1964. (Washington: United States Government Printing Office, 1964.), 61 pages. It is a survey paper which gives the data gathered from a study in which the geography of Puente Hills terrain is measured in terms of its depth with dating of its prehistoric formation, oil information included. Other surrounding areas were surveyed with oil resource information included within the paper. There are charts pertaining to oil wells drilled prior to 1958 in eastern Puente Hills, also included is photography and some aerial views of the terrain surveyed. In addition, there is one geologic survey chart and three geologic section maps of Prado Dam and Yorba Linda, and the counties of Los Angeles, Riverside, Orange and San Bernardino. There is an index as well. It is in good condition.
