A piece of glass believed to be from a viewing plate of a casket, ca. 1870. The fragment is clear glass and has a section of dirt on it containing small fragments of wood, probably from the coffin that this glass piece was with. The glass, in addition to being broken, has cracks, scratches and other surface marks and is in poor condition.
