Description

A glass juicer, ca. 1920s. The item is circular and has a squared handle at one part of the edge and a rounded spout at another portion of the edge for pouring the juice. The ribbed extractor at the center is pointed at the top and there are six ridges. Six channels at the bottom of the extractor allow the juice to settle at the bottom of the item and allow for pouring to another container. Four grooved sections are on the outer section of the juicer and appear to be decorative, rather than utilitarian. No maker's mark or other identifying features are on the piece, which has small chips on the edges and the top of the extractor and very light scratches on the bottom, and the piece is in good condition.
