Color: Brown
A glazed encaustic multicolor tile called Yorkshire created by Karen J. Patterson, 1998. The piece is symmetrical from all sides and features a design in a brown glaze with four stylized flower and leaf patterns on each corner meeting in the center to form a diamond. On the inside of the diamond is a four-sided club design. Black smears caused by the firing process can be found on the back of the tile. In the upper right corner of the back is a stamp reading, "KJ PATTERSON / CERAMICS." The tile, sold by Country Floors, Inc., was manufactured in a weathered finish and is in good condition.
