GLENDALE AMERICAN LEGION POST 127 FLOAT AT THE PASADENA TOURNAMENT OF ROSES PARADE, 1920s Color: Black; White A float entered by Glendale Post 127 of the American Legion at the Tournament of Roses Parade, Pasadena, California, 1920s. The image shows the float on a street in front of a one-story commercial building. The float has the name of the organization on the side facing the photographer. The plant material includes dark-colored material and an American flag and other patriotic items in flowers. A statue of a World War I soldier is at the front of the float. To the left is another American Legion float and a third unidentifiable float. At the right is the commercial building with people crowded on the sidewalk. On the back is the brand name "VELOX" preprinted onto the paper, while the number "101" is stamped in blue ink. With some mounting adhesive residue on the back corners, small creases at the right corners, and slight yellowing, the overall condition is good. Number-Units: 1
