Glenn Hammond Curtiss on Aviation Field for the first flight, ca. 1910. The postcard is possibly a cyanotype and published by Benham Company in Los Angeles. The photograph shows Curtiss sitting at the wheel of a bi-plane in the middle of an open field. Two men stand behind the airplane to the right. The photograph has been printed in blue hues. The item is in good condition despite the minor abrasions and fading.
