Description

Color: Black; White A black and white photograph of the Glorieta construction from the southeast, 3 February 1977. In the center is the octagon-shaped concrete base for the structure within a larger circular base. The concrete stairs are on the right where the wood framing has been laid. Wire and plates are on the far right forming the base for the Pio Pico Memorial Walkway. In the back center is the arched entrance to La Casa Nueva's Mission Walkway partially hidden by trees and bushes to the left and right. This area is enclosed by a chain-link fence that runs across the back. An access gate is on the right where two signs are placed reading, "NO/ PARKING/ ANY/ TIME/ TOW AWAY/ TOW AWAY"; and, "PRIVATE/ PROPERTY/ KEEP OUT." In the foreground is dirt, rocks, and two extension cords running across the bottom. On the back bottom right is a label crediting Duane C. Alan as the photographer and providing his business information. Two identical images are provided, are the same as 99.5.1.20, and in good condition. Number-Units: 1
