Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of the Glorieta under construction from the south, 7 September 1977. Seen in the center, the structure rests on an octagon-shape raised concrete base with a flight for the stairs on the right. Eight columns are on top sustaining the rotunda roof which is capped by a turret on the top center. The turret has an ornate guard on the bottom, four circular designs in the center, and a bell shaped roof. Three vertically placed balls of decreasing size are on top of the bell roof holding a steel rod. On the back right are trees and the west side of the pump house which has wood siding and a pitched roof. In the background center is the west wing of the Workman House partially covered by trees at bottom left is part of a white trailer. On the back bottom right is a label crediting Duane C. Alan as the photographer and providing his business information. There are two identical images with the same number (see 99.5.1.33 for a southern view) and both are in good condition.
