Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of the Glorieta site grading from the south, 8 November 1976. The graded dirt appears in the bottom half of the image. Surveying markers are located on the left and center, and a work-horse table on the right. Across the back is a row of trees behind a chain-link perimeter fence which has a gate in the center. On the left, and partially hidden by trees, is the arched entrance to the Mission Walkway with a concrete pillar on either side. The pump house, with wood siding, pitched roof, and turret, is on the right. A large beam leans on the west side of the Water Tower, seen on the far right and the arched window on the second floor and tank area above are the only portions pictured. On the back bottom right corner is a stamp in black ink crediting Duane C. Alan as the photographer and providing his business information. Two identical images are in the collection and are in good condition.
