Description

Color: Green A bound set of Good Furniture magazines, published by Dean-Hicks Company, Grand Rapids, Michigan, 1916. The hard cover is in green cloth with gold lettering on the spine giving the title and year. Monthly issues of the magazine are inside with articles generally concerning the furniture industry and trade but also on decorative elements, such as drapery, accessories, floor coverings; architecture; and city design and planning. Articles are generally illustrated with black and white, with some colorized, photographs and with some drawings. Although the title page and index of contents are for July-December, the volume does contain a full 12-month run of magazines. With cracking and a significant amount of wear to the cover, including abrasions, scratches, and dented corners; and slight page discoloration, the artifact is in fair condition.
