Color: Blue
A bound set of Good Furniture magazines, published by Dean-Hicks Company, Grand Rapids, Michigan, 1924. The hard cover is in dark blue cloth with a leather spine label giving the title and year. Monthly issues of the magazine are inside with articles generally concerning the furniture industry and trade but also on decorative elements, such as drapery, accessories, floor coverings; architecture; and city design and planning. Articles are generally illustrated with black and white, with some colorized, photographs and with some drawings. On the inside front cover is a label reading: "LIBRARY / RANKIN & KELLOGG / ARCHITECTS / PHILADELPHIA." With cracking and wear to the spine label; abrasions to the cover edge and a rather significant abrasion to the top of the spine edge; some white stains on the covers; scratches on the cover; dented cover corners; slight page discoloration; and a blue pencil mark on the page ends, the artifact is in good condition.
