Book: "Good Housekeeping's Book of Menus, Recipes, and Household Discoveries" by the Department of Cooking, Good Housekeeping Institute (New York: Good Housekeeping, 1925), 253 pp. A hardcover book, without dust jacket, with a blue cover. The front cover has a checkerboard border with text at the upper portion in black ink and text on the spine. The back cover is blank. Contents include menus by food type with information on measures and mixing, equivalents and weights and information on household care, listed by room. There are photographs in the book. The book is in fair condition with discolored pages, and soiling and stains on the cover. Handwritten in blue ink on the front page is, "Effie Eghirt/Eghirt Orchard."
