Description

Color: Black; Gold; Green "Good Manufacturing Company Catalog G," issued by the Good Manufacturing Company, Inc., 1925. The 135-page artifact has a green hardcover with the name of the company at the top of the front withing a gold seal. At the top of the spine is the word "Good," and at the bottom is the catalog number. The printing on the spine is in gold. At the beginning of the inside are a title page, and introductions to the company and their rubber plumbing fixtures. Items listed include tank bulbs; flush valves; tank levers; washers; screws; bumpers; gaskets; faucet parts; compression cushions; force cups; basin stoppers; packing; pipes and connectors; sink parts; bath fixtures; plumbing tools; and furnace parts. At the end is an index. Many black and white illustrations and photographs are included. Another copy of the catalog is in the collection and is item 2000.218.2.1. With abrasions; small dents of the cover; fading of the gold printing; acid burns on the flysheets; and a small stain on the back, the object is in good condition overall.
