Description

Color: Black; Gold; Green A catalog of plumbing supplies, issued by the Good Manufacturing Company, 1925. The 135-page book has a green hardcover with the name of the company at the center in black within a gold seal. At the top of the spine is the word, "Good." At the bottom is the letter, "G." The printing on the spine is in gold. At the beginning of the inside is a title page, an introduction to the catalog, as well as an introduction to the company's rubber plumbing fixtures. Items available for sale include tank bulbs; flush valves; tank levers; washers; screws; bumpers; gaskets; faucet parts; compression cushions; force cups; basin stoppers; packing; pipes and connectors; sink parts; bath fixtures; plumbing tools; and furnace parts. At the back is an index. Also included are many black and white illustrations as well as some photographs. Another copy of the catalog is in the accession and is item 2001.53.1.1. With light abrasions; creases; fading of the gold on the cover; stains; and some tearing of the cover fabric, the object is in good condition overall.
