A press photo of Grand Temple of the Rosy Cross and the Krotona Inn, Beachwood Canyon, Hollywood Hills, 6 June 1923. A Moorish style building with a dome towards the back, built of a slight knoll by the Krotona Colony, a utopia seeking Theosophical Society. The building was built in 1912 by Mead and Requa. The land surrounding it is mostly barren with the mountains in the background. A woman and child stand by the front steps. Several markings in pen on the photograph surface. The photograph is in fair condition, minor loss and creasing throughout.
