A real photo postcard, "Great Aviation Meet," C.C. Pierce, Los Angeles, January 1910. The view is of seven aircraft at the Dominguez Air Meet at Compton and shows airplanes, dirigibles and balloons superimposed in the sky just above the packed grandstand at the event, the first of its kind in the United States. A message on the reverse is unrelated to the meet. With some fading and light soiling, the condition is good overall.
