Description

Bowl: Green decorative bowl manufactured in Zanesville, Ohio by the Roseville Pottery Company, ca. 1914 - ca. 1930. The low profile bowl has a matte green glaze overall. A darker green glaze was applied to the interior of the bowl and to the rim area, giving it a "dripping icing" effect. Maker's mark on the bottom is a large blue "R" with a small "v" inside. Possibly used as a flower or fruit bowl and was possibly part of a larger dinnerware set. See also a matching pair of candlestick holders (97.40.3a-b). Overall physical condition and appearance is good. "Rv"
