GROUP AT A TABLE, HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMUNITY LUNCHEON, LA CASA NUEVA WEST LAWN
Color: Green; Yellow
A color photograph of six persons at a table at a historic preservation community luncheon, La Casa Nueva west lawn, May 1981. The three seated on the right side of the table are Margaret Eley, California Historical Society; Don Pflueger, history professor at Cal Poly Pomona; and Martin Eli Weil, restoration architect and also from the Los Angeles Conservancy. At the left, seated, are Elizabeth Rossbacher from the Los Angeles Conservancy; Lou Bourdet from the La Puente Valley Historical Society; and Cathy Titus of the Homestead Museum. The group is seated at a long, rectangular table with a light-blue tablecloth; wicket basket floral centerpieces; and place settings. Behind them to the upper right is the north end of the west side of La Casa Nueva, including the french doors to the Music Room and a wall of the front patio. Some of the lawn, restored circular planters, and landscaping is visible, as is a portion of the front wall. Identifications of those in the image are on the back in ink, between which is the red date and photo process stamp. With no indication of wear or damage, the object is in good condition.
