Guth family home, Los AngelesEntry/Object ID
2007.184.1.1Description
A real photo postcard of the Guth family home, Los Angeles, 1910 [postmark date in November.] The image shows three adults, identified in a caption at the bottom as Molly, Earl, and Johnny Guth, on the porch of the two-gabled wood-frame dwelling. There is a short picket fence in front, some board fencing in the back and what appear to be corrals to the rear. In the distance are some hills. On the reverse is a message and address, as well as a one-cent postage stamp and two postmarks. With some soiling, small stains, and edge wear, the condition is good.Lexicon
