Color: Black; Brown; White
A letter from H. G. Levy of Fine & Levy, Inc. to L. R. Hannah, 7 April 1925. The missive from a co-owner of a men's apparel company in New York to a storeowner in Norma, North Dakota, informs the storekeeper that a letter, enclosed with this, but not present with the accession, was received by the company in reference to an advertisement in the "Saturday Evening Post." Though Hannah did not carry the product, it was being sent to him, presumably for purchase by the correspondent, a Mr. Nelson, mentioned above. Hannah was asked to inspect the hat for its quality and consider adding it to his inventory. The letter is signed by Levy, but his first name is unclear, though his initials are at the bottom left along with those of the secretary who typed the letter. At the top is the company name, logo, and motto. At the upper left and right are the company phone number and cable address, respectively. Just to the lower right of the logo is the date of the letter. With one-third folding, much creasing, surface soiling, and rust stains from a paper clip, since removed, at the upper left, the document is in poor condition.Lexicon
