Description
HANDLE AND LOCK CASE OF THE LA CASA NUEVA FRONT DOOR
Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of the handle and lock case on the inside of the front door in La Casa Nueva, ca. 1940. The door is opened at a 45 degree angle with the inside handle and lock case at center. To the right is part of an elaborately decorated hinge, while a small portion of the outer handle is just to the left of the case. At left is part of the window casing at the west side of the north wall, in which there is a case. Below this are about ten of the baseboard tiles. There is a one-inch tear at the bottom left edge and some creases; dented corners; and very slight discoloration, so the object is in fair condition.
