A paper scrapbook, "Happy School Days--My Record", compiled by Edith Schultz, a graduate of Puente High School, 1925, 26 pp. The book consists of many black and white photographs, some cut into various shapes, and featuring Ms. Schultz and her instructors, such as music teacher Benedict Bantly, who also taught the Temple children at home, and classmates, including Nellie Didier Temple. Captions are underneath most photos. Also includes what appears to be a page from the school annual, which has portraits of the faculty and administration; a track meet program; swatches of fabric from dances and graduation; and newspaper articles. At the rear is a list of class officers for the 1924-25 school year with their signatures, including that of Nellie Didier. The pages taken from sections of a Kodak-sold scrapbook, with some pages missing and pagination varying, is in fair condition with Japanese paper used as a binder, but many pages loose from it, and some discoloration. Many captions and comments written in black ink, as well as class officer names and signatures at rear.Lexicon
