Description

A photograph of the Harry Owens Orchestra, Los Angeles, probably 1927. The photo is a collage of images of the band leader and eight other members with their names below the portraits and a shot of the orchestra on stage (see .8 for this image by itself.) The band name and phrase "Incomparable Melodists" is at the center. Owens went on to fame with his Royal Hawaiians at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Waikiki. With creases, stains, chipped corners and other wear, the condition is fair to fair.
