"Hartsough's Homeopathic Guide: A Home Materia Medica for the Successful Use of Homeopathic Remedies, Sixth Edition," issued by Hartsough's Homeopathic Pharmacy, ca. 1920s. The 48-page booklet has a tan cardstock cover with the title and subtitle at the top of the front. At the center is a drawing of a saw across a red heart with words that read, "HOMEOPATHIC / HARTSOUGH / REMEDIES." At the bottom are the name and location of the publisher. At the top of the back is an advertisement for Hartsough's Homeopathic Pharmacy. All of the lettering on the cover is in black ink. At the beginning of the inside are an introduction and instructions for using home remedies. Remedies provided include treatment for such things as acne, mumps, menstruation, nose bleed, and much more. At the end are listings of materia medica, remedies in combination, and an index. With some abrasions; light dents and creases; some discoloration; light pest damage; and small stains, the object is in good condition overall.Lexicon
