Description

Color: Blue; Green; Red; White A color postcard of Harvard Hall at Harvard University, ca. 1920s. The building is at the center, partially hidden by several trees. It has two floors with Colonial-like architectural elements including red brick, arched windows, white cornices, and a pitched roof. The building is topped by a round turret. At the far right of the structure is another red brick building that has four floors, multi-pane windows, and a hipped roof. Across the front of both buildings is a lawn that has several paved walkways in different directions. Printed in red ink across the bottom of the postcard is "Harvard Hall, Harvard College. Cambridge, Mass." On the left of the back is the name and location of the printer. On the top right corner is a square box for postage. All of the printing on the back is in green ink. With some abrasions and light creases at the corners; light soiling; some foxing on the back; small stains; a small tear; and some overall wear, the artifact is in fair condition.
