HARVARD-SPRINGFIELD FOOTBALL GAME PROGRAM, OCTOBER 6, 1928
Color: Black; Red; White
A game program, also known as the Harvard A. A. (Athlectic Association) News, Volume 3, Number 2, for the football game between Harvard University and Springfield College, October 6, 1928. The cover is a red (almost a violet) color with the names of the teams at the top, an image of a player running with the ball at center, and the publication title, volume and number, and price at the bottom. In addition to information about the game, including a scorecard, list of players, list of officials, there are other aspects, including a list of penalties, and articles of the Harvard soccer team, intramural athletics, news on the football team and its history, and a reading feature for new books. There are a few photographs, including one on the inside of the back cover of the team in practice. Advertisements are also found throughout. As the cover is slightly loose; there is brittleness along the edges; creases; a fold vertically near the center; dented corners; light soiling on the cover; ink stains on the back; and tears along the spine, the condition is fair.Lexicon
