Description
HARVEY MORRIS REPAIRING PRINCE WOOD CARVING, LA CASA NUEVA COURTYARD
Color: Black; White
A black and white negative of craftsman Harvey Morris working on the wood carving of Prince in the La Casa Nueva Courtyard, ca. 1979. The closeup shows Morris in a head-and-shoulder view at left, holding a chisel in his left hand, and a hammer or mallet in his right. The chisel point appears to be at the left side of the dog's face. Other than the lamp mounted on the beam behind the dog's head and the blurry outlines of part of the balcony railing in the background, little else can be discerned. The negative, along with four copies, is in mint condition.
