Description

HARVEY MORRIS RESTORING A WOOD GATE AT LA CASA NUEVA Color: Blue; Brown; Black A color photograph of Harvey Morris working on a wood gate at La Casa Nueva, ca. 1978. Only the artisan's head is to the left. He faces to the right and wears eye glasses. At the bottom center is his right hand holding a hammer which he applies to the black iron bar of the gate. The bar keeps the three beams of the gate, at center, together. The tops of the beams are decorated with finials. Morris' left hand is behind the gate's first beam. In the background is the other door of the gate and a gray wall to the left. With little signs of wear, the image is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
