"Hills of Los Angelos [sic], California," published by Continent Stereoscopic Company, ca. 1880s. The view shows what appear to be houses on Fort Moore Hills to the west of the downtown area. One of these houses seems to be a one-story adobe, while the remainder are more modern wood-frame dwellings. In the foreground are the roofs and side walls of commercial buildings, but these cannot be identified. With fairly heavy darkening to the mount, soiling, two small red stains on the left image, and edge rubbing, the overall condition is fair.
