The 64-page program has an Art Deco-style cover with an orange background on which are white stars. A vertical line of stars within circular elements is at the left with short horizontal fields to the left of this denoting which week of the summer program and specific dates were encompassed, as well as the price. To the right of the vertical design are "SUMMER / SYMPHONY / REVIEW," "OFFICIAL / PROGRAM," the season, year, and "HOLLYWOOD / BOWL CONCERTS." The first page lists the season's conductors. Page three lists officers, directors, charter members, active members, and past presidents of the Hollywood Bowl Association, Inc. A list of boxholders starts on page five, continuing onto page fifty-six. Other contents include articles on the composer for the week; a lists of bowl committees; the week's program; program notes; descriptions of soloists; a list of permanent patrons to the Bowl; a centerfold promotional section about Los Angeles County; and, at the end, the manager's weekly letter. There are many advertisements related to music, real estate, and other Los Angeles businesses, as well as black and white photographs. With cover creases, corner dents, folds, a small loss at the bottom left corner of the back, pest damage at the lower left of the front, small stains, and spine tears; as well as some page yellowing, the overall condition is good.
