A baseball card of Pacific Coast League player Gooch of the Hollywood Stars, 1928. The image shows the player turned slightly away from the camera on a baseball field in uniform posed just after hitting a ball and he holds a bat by the handle in both hands with the bat over his left shoulder. In the background are a couple of players against a wall, behind which are some of the stadium stands. At the bottom right is the inscription "28/ ZEENUT / SERIES / GOOCH / STARS." Zeenut, a food producer, distributed the cards. With a great deal of soiling, abraded edges with losses, dented corners, and creases, the artifact is in fair condition.
