Description

Color: Black; Green A cash coupon offer, issued by the Home Art Co. Not Inc., 1929. The green paper sheet has "$25.00" at the center of the top. Below this are the words, "CASH COUPON OFFER." The offer, which is described below the latter, entitles customers with large orders to use the attached coupons in the place of cash. The coupons are at the center and range from a value of .25 to $5.25, depending on the price total of the merchandise ordered. Across the bottom is a rectangle within which is a note reminding consumers that coupons will only be honored when ordering from the company's catalog and will not be taken for already discounted items. Below this is the name and address of the company. All of the printing is in black ink. The artifact was found within the catalog which is item .1 along with a coupon .2; a letter .3; an order blank .5; and a return envelope .6. With a fold across the center and small tears, the object is in good overall condition.
