Description

HOMESTEAD AREA AND AGNES TEMPLE FROM THE SOUTHWEST FIELD Color: Black; White A negative of the Homestead area and Agnes Temple from a field to the southwest, ca. 1924. Taken from a field to the southwest, the view shows the upper portions of both La Casa Nueva and the Workman House, a portion of the upper section of the Water Tower, at the far right, and the west end of the laundry room, also at the far right. Several trees, probably walnuts, are planted in the field, though much of it is bare and plowed. There appears to be a stack of adobe bricks in front of the laundry room. Standing at the center in the field is Agnes Temple, wearing a plaid patterned skirt. A small section of the left edge is missing, and there is some cloudiness in the image, otherwise the condition is good. Number-Units: 1
