Description

Color: Black; White A negative of the Homestead from the north driveway, ca. 1926. The photographer stood on the road leading from Valley Boulevard to the ranch and took in a view that included the front elevation of the Workman House at left, straight down the driveway and La Casa Nueva on the right with its front and part of the east elevations shown. On the west side of the drive is a wooden pole and flanking the lane on both sides are a number of landscaped plants, including palms and fruit trees. See 90.17.1.7 for a print of the same view. With some damage to the left center edge that only slightly affects the image, there is otherwise little wear or damage and the artifact is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
