Description

Color: Black; White A black and white proof sheet featuring twelve views of the Glorieta and Water Tower, 1981. Each of the first eight photographs were taken from the south-west and show the Glorieta on the left. Seven arches go around the white structure which has a small tower and dome on the roof with a pointed rod on top. A brick walkway starts on the bottom left, encirles the area around the Glorieta, and contines to the right passing in front of the Pump House and Water Tower which are located behind the black perimeter fence. Only a small portion of the Pio Pico Gallery is seen to the far right next to a grassy knoll. In the background are trees which almost completely hide the south-west wing of the Workman House. The last four photographs are the same, but from a closer view. A white label identifies the different shots with the number range 794 through 801. On the back corner is a stamp in black ink crediting Duane C. Alan as the photographer and providing his business information. With no signs of wear, the image is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
