Color: Brown; Green; Red; White
A color photograph of the Homestead Museum Glorieta, ca. 1980. The recently-completed structure is at the center and is of white cast-aluminum with intricate designs on the tower at the apex, the facing at the roof line and the "cornice" just below the roof, and on the panels along the rail at the lower level. Concrete steps lead to the stand with plain white rails on the sides. The octagonal face along the roof line has a harp design at the center of each section. At the bottom of the image is the newly-set Pio Pico Memorial Walkway. At the right, behind a chain-link fence topped with barbed wire is the southeastern entrance to La Casa Nueva. At left is Don Julian road and a warehouse across the street. At the bottom of the reverse is an inscription in black ink "Source: Arnold Shulman Photography." There are a few creases, some surface soiling on the reverse and pin holes at each corner, but the artifact is overall in good condition.
