The front cover has a background of light blue and thin white vertical strips. At the top is the title and below this is an image of woman standing among roses and a dark silhouette forest scene. The phrases "FOX / TROT / SONG" and "With Ukulele / and Banjo Uke" are at the upper left, while the composers' names are at the lower right with the publisher's information. In a separate box at the lower left is a photograph of singer Rudy Vallee and the caption "Featured by / RUDY VALLEE / and his Orchestra." The transcription of the moderato tempo tune has a tuning key for a ukulele at the bottom right of the first page by May Singhi Breen. At the bottom of page four is an advertisement for a folio of popular songs from the publisher, while a similar ad on page five notes that sheets for orchestra and band, at fifty cents, and male quartet for twenty five cents, and records and piano rolls were available. Sample transcriptions for eight songs and cover art for four of them are on the inside front and back covers. A music store stamp and owner's name are at the upper right of the front. With partial spine separation, light creases, minor soiling, some browning, light stains, and a few small tears, the condition is fair.
