A negative of a horse race at an unknown location, 1930. The view was taken from a grandstand and shows the finish line and official's table at the right, the horses approaching the finish at the left of center, much of the infield and other side of the oval track, and some open space beyond. A print from a similar image, which is 96.7.5.4, gives the printing date of July 19, 1930, so the event must have been around that time. In the foreground are some of the spectators near the photographer. The upper right corner is very creased, but otherwise the object is in good condition.
