HOTEL REDON TO WALTER P. TEMPLE, 11 SEPTEMBER 1894
A receipt from the Hotel Redon, Silao, Mexico to Walter P. Temple and J. E. Graham, 11 September 1894. Handwritten in black ink on a half-sheet of lined paper, the receipt has, at the lower left, three revenue stamps with the Mexican seal with the hotel stamp over them. Written in Spanish, the document acknowledges receipt of 48 pesos for sixteen days of room and board from 26 August to 11 September. Signed by Julian Retrias. Folded in thirds vertically; with a tears at the four points of both folds; some creases; a bent corner at lower right; and discoloration, the receipt is in fair condition.
