HOTEL VISTA DEL ARROYO AND BUNGALOWS, PASADENA, CALIFORNIA, CA. 1915
A colored photographic postcard of the Hotel Vista del Arroyo and bungalows, Pasadena, California, ca. 1915. In the foreground is a wide grassy lawn with a number of people sitting in wooden rockers and chairs at wooden tables with colored umbrellas for shade. At center right is a large palm tree and at left is a trellised arbor covered with a vine. Other plantings at left and right partially obscure the light yellow and orange tinted hotel building which, though a blocky, square structure has a tiled roof and domed, Mission Revival-style tower. Unused, the card was made by E. C. Kropp Co. of Milwaukee. Purchased from HM volunteer Bill Stone, the card is in good condition with edge abrasion, very light ink smears on the back and light discoloration.Lexicon
