Description
"HOW THE OPEN SHOP PROMOTES GENERAL PROSPERITY IN LOS ANGELES," Edgar Lloyd Hampton, reprinted from the "Industrial Digest," by the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, ca. 1929. The pamphlet's article argues that the non-union business environment in Los Angeles was a benefit to the entire city. There are many photographs pertaining to Los Angeles industry and, at the back, statistics on population and industry through 1928. Aside from cover soiling and edge wear, the condition is good.
