"In San Antonio Canyon," by Wright M. Pierce, ca. 1920s. The view shows San Antonio Creek rushing through rock-formed rapids and banked by trees. In the distance are portions of neaby mountains. On the reverse in ink is the title. Pierce was a Claremont, California ornithologist who died in 1937. At the bottom right is his mark. With some pin holes at two corners and the center of the top and bottom, light soiling and edge browning, the condition is good.
