Description
INDENTURE, PIO PICO AND SAN FERNANDO FARM HOMESTEAD ASSOCIATION, 1869
Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of an indenture between Pio Pico and the San Fernando Farm Homestead Association, 2 July 1869. The document, which includes signatures, seals and notary marks, concerns lands in the Rancho ex-Mission San Fernando. The photograph is a duplicate of one used in the exhibit on Pico in the foyer of the Pio Pico Gallery and appears to have been photographed directly from a deed book at the Los Angeles County Archives. With creases; curling; and pin holes at the corners, the artifact is in fair condition.
