INSERT FOR "OFFICIAL PROGRAM, 1928 NATIONAL AIR RACES & AERONAUTICAL EXPOSITION"

An insert to the "Official Program, 1928 national Air Races & Aeronautical Exposition, Los Angeles, Sept. 8-16." The four page item consists of an advertisement for the promotion of Los Angeles County to aeronautics manufacturers. The first page, 16-A, is a title page and notes the city was the host of the 1932 Olympic Games. Page 16-B is a welcome to the Air Races and gives information on Los Angeles County's importance to the aeronautical industry. This information continues onto page 16-C and there are photographs of aircraft on both. Page 16-D is an advertisement from an oil company highlighting aviation achievements. With light creases; minor soiling; yellowing; front right edge flaking; and small tears along the right edge of the front, the overall condition of the artifact is good.
