Description

INSERT TO CURTIS WOODWORK PRICE SUPPLEMENT TO CATALOG NO. 400 Color: Black; White An insert to the "Price Supplement to Catalog No. 400," issued by Curtis Companies, effective 26 July 1923. The single sheet, number three to apply to the March catalog, has the company trade mark at the top within a border. Below is information on discounts and includes markdowns of 15-33 1/3% on all items, ranging from 15% on white pine mirror doors to 33 1/3% on all windows and sashes. Terms, freight allowance, claims for loss or amage, and returned goods are explained underneath the discounts with the company name and headquarters, as well as the supplement number and effective date at the bottom. Written in black ink between the first and second lines of the term section are the words "arrival of goods" to replace "invoice" for a 2% discount for remittances made within ten days of the date of the arrival as opposed to the date of invoice. Though there are paper clip rust stains at the top center and long creases at both top corners, the artifact is in good condition.
