Description
INSIDE OF LA CASA NUEVA BASEMENT VAULT DOOR BEFORE RESTORATION
Color: Brown
A color polaroid photograph of the inside of the La Casa Nueva basement vault door before restoration, ca. 1979. The photographer stands at one side of the room looking toward the east at the open vault door. There is rust on the metal and a long section of brown discoloration, the cause of which is not known. At the left is the vault surround, painted white, as was the front of the door. In the background is the entrance to the east room, while a small portion of the pantry cabinet is at far right. The bottom corners are creased and there is a pin hole at the bottom right corner, but with little other indication of wear or damage, the artifact is in good condition.
