Interior of an adobe house near Los Angeles, postmarked 28 April 1912. The image shows the rectangular-shaped parlor of the structure, which has open beam ceilings, plan floors and platered ceilings. Parlor tables, sofas, side and armchairs, side tables, screens and an upright piano covered with a shawl are notable, as are paintings hung from a picture rail just below the beams. An open door leads into a room in the distance. The postally used card with a short message has some soiling and edge rubbing, but is in good condition.
