Description
INVITATION TO AGNES TEMPLE MUSIC RECITAL, 23 FEBRUARY 1925
Color: Black; White
An invitation (a) with envelope (b) to a music recital of Agnes Temple, 23 February 1925. The invitation was folded once each direction and when opened to a half-sheet has a embossed border, within which at the top is the logo of St. Mary's Academy. Below is printed "Saint Mary's Academy / presents / Miss Agnes Evelyn Temple / in / Graduation Recital / on Monday afternoon, the twenty-third of February / One thousand, nine hundred and twenty-five / at three o'clock." The right edge has the ragged cut look to it. The envelope is plain stationery with a ragged cut on the lip of the flap. The only identifying feature to the envelope is the embossed name "Little's - Los Angeles" under the flap and on the main body of the item. The invitation has only a few creases and one small stain at the center fold, while the envelope has surface soiling, paper browning, and a fold on the edge of the flap. The overall condition, then, is good.
