Irish politician Eamon de Valera at the Olympic Auditorium, Los Angeles, ca. 1925. De Valera, standing at the center holding his hat in his hand, is next to Frank J. Barry, holding an American flag and the two are surrounded by about fifteen other men. It is assumed de Valera was in the city to promote Irish politics. De Valera was a president of the Sinn Fein party and assumed the presidency of a new party about the time of this photo. Later, he served as President of the Irish Republic. As rolled up and with several signifcant tears, the condition is poor.
